Short bio

Academic career

I received my Ph.D. in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2015. I graduated in Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 2011. In the same year, I also achieved my Master of Science in machine learning and data mining at Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland. Currently, I am an Associate Professor with the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria.

Research interests

My research interests focus are:
- Online Machine Learning in Microeconomic environments
- Application of ML/RL to the health field - Application of online learning approaches to environmental monitoring processes
